Summer Holidays
The school closes for Summer Holidays on Friday 26 June at 11.30am.
The school will reopen for Senior Infants to Sixth Class on Monday 31 August and for new Junior Infants on Tuesday 01 September.

Moving House?
If you are moving house and your child will not be returning to St Patrick's in the new school year, it is vital that you make contact with the class teacher or the Main Office as soon as possible as it will be necessary for you to complete a Transfer Form. We have a large number of children on waiting lists for all classes and we would like to be able to contact these parents as soon as possible.

Contact Details
It is essential that we have the correct address and contact details (e.g. home telephone, parents' mobile numbers) for your child on our database in order for you to receive important texts, your child/children's school reports, etc or to make contact with you if your child should fall ill during the school day. If any of your details have changed since the beginning of the school year, please complete a Change of Address/Contact Details Form, available from the office.

6th Class Graduation Ceremony
A Graduation Ceremony for our current 6th class children will take place in the school on Tuesday 23 June at 7.30pm in the PE Hall.

Road Safety
It has been noted that not all children are availing of the Traffic Warden (Lollipop Lady) service that is provided for the safety and security of the children on their way to school. Even though we are approaching the end of the school year, it is still important to instruct your child/children to cross the road only at the safe designated crossing points under the supervision of the Traffic Warden and not to cross alone at the School Avenue entrance.

Schoolbooks/Uniforms
Should any families be happy to donate schoolbooks which they no longer need, to the school, we would be delighted to receive them on the last day of term. School uniform items in very good condition will also be accepted.

School Library Books
If your child has any school library books still at home, could they please be returned to the Class Teacher before the end of the school year.

Bóthar Collection - First Holy Communion Classes
"The 2nd classes made their First Holy Communion in May. We read about Jesus and we watched a DVD about Bóthar. We learned that Bóthar gives farm animals to poor families in Africa so they can have their own farms. We decided to donate some of our Communion money to Bóthar and we raised €1,325."

Niall Mellon Township Trust - Easter Egg Raffle
Mrs McCarthy would like to thank everyone for the incredible contribution made to this fund. The total received was €2034.91. The house I worked on was for Maria and her family in Mbekweni township and she was very grateful to receive the keys to their first home. Seventy-seven houses were completed on this trip, thanks to the generosity of everyone.
