Easter Holidays
Please note that the children will finish today at 11.30am on Friday 26 March.The school will be closed from Monday 29 March to Friday 09 April inclusive and will reopen on Monday 12 April at 08.30am.

Parents Preparation Meeting Holy Communion
The next Meeting for parents of children preparing for First Holy Communion will take place in St Mochta's Parish Centre on 13th April 2010 at 8pm. This meeting looks at the preparation for the communion ceremony which will take place on May 8th for St Patrick's NS and May 15th for St Mochta's NS. At least one parent should attend this meeting. If you cannot attend please contact the Parish office directly at (01) 8213218.

Junior Infant Vaccinations
The Northern Area Health Board Doctors will be visiting the school on 15 and 16 April to administer Junior Infant Vaccinations. The HSE will contact all parents directly confirming the date on which your child will be seen. Please note you are welcome to accompany your child to the vaccinations.

Supervised Homework for 5th & 6th Class Children
5th and 6th Class children are welcome to use Board Room 1 (Fingal Board Room) to do their homework (supervised by a member of staff), Monday to Thursday from 2.10 - 3.30pm, commencing Monday 12 April. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Priority to children attending for the full week (Mon-Thu). Suggested donation to school: €10 per week. Small snack will be provided. Please email info@stpatricksns.ie if interested.

Downey Lanigan Academy of Irish Dance
Our Annual Féis (Irish Dancing Competition) took place last Sunday 21st March in the Castleknock Hotel. Congratulations to all the children who participated and were awarded prizes. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to our forthcoming charity display (date to be confirmed). Bernie.

PA Sponsored Walk
This year, the Parents Association have moved the Sponsored walk to spring with a hope of getting some better weather. This year we are returning to the Phoenix Park on the 25th April. Further details and sponsorship cards will be distributed, after the Easter Break.

PA Golf Classic
The Bi-annual Parents Association Golf Classic, in aid of the school, will take place on the 12th May in Castleknock Golf Club. This is a great opportunity to support the school and get a great day out on the golf course. There are a number of options to support the school either to submit a 4-ball Team (€95 a person) or to sponsor a hole (€100).

Art & Craft Workshops

The new term of Art & Crafts starts after Easter - Mondays at 2.10 - 3.45pm. Please contact Blathnaid directly, at 087 4123247 for full details.

Table Tennis
Table Tennis will start after the Easter holidays on Thursday from 3:05 to 4:00. A sign up sheet is available in the foyer beside reception. Classes will start on Thursday the 15th of April and will be for 8 weeks. The cost is €25. Preference will be given to older classes, numbers are limited. Kieran Walsh.

New Tennis Course after Easter
There has been a large registration for the next tennis course (8 weeks) beginning Tuesday 13 April, 3.05pm - 4.00pm. Priority will be given to the older children. The cost is €25. Until such time as we confirm the numbers from the older classes, we are unable to offer places to children from 1st class. We will inform them on 12 April if any 1st class children can be accommodated.

"Little Whiz Kids" Computer Training Workshops
Our main aim is to ensure primary school children are given the opportunity to develop their computer skills before entering secondary level education. Our workshops are designed specifically for children aged 5 - 12 years old (Senior Infants+). We provide kids with activities that develop skills, but most importantly, we let them experience and see the computer in unique ways that relate to them. Give your child the best head start in a world where computers are their future.

French for Children 3-12 years ****SPECIAL OFFER****
