Application Forms - Junior Infants September 2007
Application Forms and copies of the revised Enrolment Policy will be available for collection from the Main Office from 30 January onwards. Registration Week will take place from 12 to 15 March inclusive.

Parent-Teacher Meetings
Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place on Tuesday 13 February. On this day, First to Fourth Classes will go home at 1.55pm as directed by the Department of Education & Science (Infants will go home at their usual time). It will not be possible to meet with all parents on one day so some of you will be given appointments for another time. Details will follow from class teachers. While we are making every effort to accommodate siblings on the 13th, this may not always be possible due to the large numbers in the school.

Drop-off Arrangements
We must again draw your attention to the drop-off arrangements at the school. Please note the following:
• People may stop momentarily adjacent to the Bus parking area to drop off children.
• Please move as far up as possible on that stretch so that six or seven cars can drop off at the same time.
• For their safety, children should be dropped only on the school side of the road.
• Please do not stop on the roundabout.
• Please also note that parents are not permitted to park in the Staff Car Park when dropping or collecting children. If you are returning to the school to drop off forgotten lunches, schoolbags, etc., we would ask that you park in the bus stop area and enter via the Pedestrian Gate. (Please close gates after you leave).
These requests are made to ensure the safety of your child/children and we ask that you observe them at all times.

Artist in Residency
We are delighted that Fingal County Council has selected our school for their "Artist in Residency" scheme whereby an artist will come into the school and work with the children. The project will start in March and run until the end of May.

National Parent Council-Primary Dublin North West Schools Quiz 2007
The NPC-P Schools Quiz is a general knowledge table quiz for teams of primary school children. It is taking place on Saturday 17 February at 4pm in St Brigid's GAA Club, Russell Park, Navan Road, Dublin 15. We are looking for some parent volunteers to help prepare the children for this event. Please contact the Main Office if you are interested.

Table Quiz
The Parents Association are organising a Table Quiz, which will take place in the Clonsilla Inn on 27 February at 8.45pm. The cost per table is €30 and the max per table is 4. We are looking for Sponsorship, and if any parent has any contact through their work or would know of anyone that would like to sponsor a round, we would ask you to contact Martin Keane on 086 8131748 or email martingkeane@eircom.net. We would also be very grateful of any donations for spot prizes on the night, no matter how small.

This promises to be a great fun night out and is always a great social occasion, as well as raising funds for the School. The Parents Association would like to thank all parents for their continued support at our fundraising events. Fundraising is vitally important. The monies raised are used to purchase resources which enhance the teaching and learning in our school.

Extra Curricular Activities
Due to Teacher Training and Parent/Teacher meetings, there will be no basketball for 1st and 2nd Classes on Tuesday 30 January and 13 February 2007. An extra class will take place at the end of term instead.

Our Annual Féis (Irish Dancing Competition) will take place this Sunday at 2pm in the Setanta Hotel.
