Moving House?
If you are moving house and your child will not be returning to St Patrick’s in the new school year, it is vital that you make contact with the class teacher or the Main Office as soon as possible as it will be necessary for you to complete a Transfer Form. We have a number of children on waiting lists for all classes and we would like to be able to contact these parents as soon as possible.
Contact Details
It is essential that we have the correct address and contact details (e.g. home telephone, parents’ mobile numbers) for your child on our database in order for you to receive your child/children’s school reports, end of year letters, etc or to make contact with you if your child should fall ill during the school day. If any of your details have changed since the beginning of the school year, please complete a Change of Address/Contact Details Form, available from the office.
Collections during the School Day
If you need to collect your child during the school day, please do not do so during break times (10.20-10.30am and 12.00-12.30pm) as the children are in the play ground at this time. Children must be signed out at Reception before leaving the school premises. Your cooperation in this matter would be very much appreciated.
Cumann na mBunscoil 2011 (Santry)
“On Wednesday, we took part in Santry. Everyone tried their best and won a cup and some medals. Everybody really enjoyed themselves. Thanks to all the teachers especially Mrs Soulsby who helped make it a great day!”. Anu & Cian – 3rd Class
Santry Results
Congratulations to our school athletics team who performed very well at Morton Stadium this week. It was a great day out and even though the competition was very stiff, the team won a number of awards: U10 Girls 500m, U13 Boys 500m, U10 Girls Relay and U10 Boys Relay. Well done to all the team!
Can all those children who competed in Santry this week please return their athletics kit (shorts and/or singlet) as soon as possible? Please make sure that they are “signed back in” as it is important that the school keeps track of all stock.
Sports for All Day for 1st and 2nd Classes
The Sports for All Day for 1st and 2nd Classes will take place on Wednesday 8th June (weather permitting). Children should bring school bags and lunch as normal. An extra drink is advised. They should also wear their school tracksuits and suitable footwear. Children can wear a cap in the event of strong sunlight. It may be a good idea to apply sunscreen before school. We look forward to a fun day for all!
Book Orders
All orders received have been processed and the orders have been submitted to the book suppliers. We hope to have delivery and distribution to the children within the next fortnight. No further orders can be accepted. Books are available online at www.wiseowl.ie, various other online suppliers and through local bookstores.
Dogs Outside School Gates
Following an incident last week, we would ask that you discourage your child from petting any dog. We would also ask that dogs are not left unattended outside the school gates. Under no circumstances should dogs ever be brought on to school grounds.
