No Presents Please
In view of the present economic state, the staff at St Patrick’s would prefer if children did not give them presents this Christmas. You might wish to make a donation to St Vincent de Paul instead.

St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal
Our Christmas Appeal is once again in aid of SVP. If you wish to participate:

  • Hampers (non-perishable food items). Items for hampers can be placed in the boxes beside the crib in the school foyer.
  • Donate a toy/gift for a child (new items only).  Labels are available from the office.
  • Financial Donations. If you would like to donate money to the SVP through the school, please drop it in to the office in an envelope marked “SVP”.  All monies donated will be lodged directly into the SVP Account.

For more information, see www.svp.ie.

St Mochta’s Parish Carol Service
Parish Carol Service will be at 4pm in St Mochta's Church on Sunday 18th December. All welcome! The two school choirs will be singing at it. Could the choir members please come to the Parish Centre for 2:45pm on the day to rehearse with the other parish choirs singing at the service? Thank you, Ms Meade.

Dropping in lunches, bags, homework etc.
It would be greatly appreciated that if you are dropping in any of your child’s forgotten belongings e.g. lunches, bags, homework, etc., that they are clearly marked with your child’s name and their class teacher

Staff Car Park
Please note that parents are asked not to park in the Staff Car Park when dropping or collecting children.  If you are returning to the school to drop off forgotten lunches, schoolbags, etc. during the school day, we would ask that you park in the bus stop area and enter via the Pedestrian Gate. (Please close gates after you leave).  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Reminder re dismounting bicycles, etc
In the interest of everyone’s safety, all cyclists (pupils, parents, staff & siblings) must dismount from their bicycles at the school entrance gates.  For safety reasons, we would ask that you do not allow your children to use bicycles, scooters, rollerblades or Heelys on school grounds.
