The school will be closed on Thursday 31 May as it is being used as a Polling Station for the Fiscal Stability Treaty Referendum.
June Bank Holiday
The school will be closed on Monday 04 June for the May Bank Holiday. It will remain closed on Tuesday 05 June and will reopen on Wednesday 06 June at 8.30am.
Moving House?
If you are moving house and your child will not be returning to St Patrick’s in the new school year, it is vital that you make contact with the class teacher or the Main Office as soon as possible as it will be necessary for you to complete a Transfer Form. We have a number of children on waiting lists for all classes and we would like to be able to contact these parents as soon as possible.
Contact Details
It is essential that we have the correct address and contact details (e.g. home telephone, parents’ mobile numbers) for your child on our database in order for you to receive your child/children’s school reports, end of year letters, etc or to make contact with you if your child should fall ill during the school day. If any of your details have changed since the beginning of the school year, please complete a Change of Address/Contact Details Form, available from the office.
Food Dudes
Well done to all the children who participated in Phase 1 of the Food Dude programme. Phase 2 is now underway. We would ask you to encourage your child to bring in one portion of vegetables and one portion of fruit each day, in the lunch boxes provided. There are more great prizes and certificates to be won.
Fit Factor
The Fit Factor Competition is now closed for voting. A big thank you to all those who voted. Some of the children involved are travelling to UCD today for the Grand Finale. We will keep you posted!

Given that there are so few opportunities left to train it is vital that all members of team turn up for training on the correct day.

Downey Lanigan Irish Dancing
Congratulations to Deirdre McCarthy, Kirsten Walsh, Kate Dempsey, Kate Doherty, Nicole Mongey, Niamh Murtagh who won medals at the Irish National Championships in City West last week and Kendra Walsh who has qualified for the World Championships in Boston 2013.
French for Children @ St. Patrick’s
La Jolie Ronde French summer camp (09th to 13th July, 10.00 to 12.30) is filling up steadily especially for the younger age group (4 to 7 yrs) so if you want to secure a place for this week of French fun for your children please contact me soon. Suitable for absolute beginners, and ideal to try before committing to a term of French classes in September.
