Rainbows
Rainbows – a peer support group for children from 1st to 6th class who have experienced a family bereavement or separation will commence soon in St.Mochta’s Pastoral Centre. Rainbows is a non-denominational programme. Staff Car Park
Parents are asked not to park in the Staff Car Park between 8.00am and 2.30pm, the only exception being parents collecting disabled or injured children for which there is designated Disabled Parking. These parking spots should not be used by any other cars. We would be grateful if you could also inform anyone who may be collecting your child/children on your behalf of this procedure.
Forgotten Lunches, etc.
If you are returning to the school to drop off forgotten lunches, schoolbags, etc. during the school day, we would ask that you park in the bus stop area and enter via the Pedestrian Gate. (Please close gates after you leave). Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Halloween Mid-Term Break
The school will close from 28 October to 01November inclusive for the mid-term break. Please note that the children have a full school day on Friday 25 October. The school will reopen at 08.30am on Monday 04 November.

Christmas Fair 2013
The annual Christmas Fair will take place on Sunday 1st December, 1pm-5pm, so please save the date! We are depending on the support of volunteers to ensure the continued success of this event, so it’s never too late to volunteer. Contact Colette at 087 9380380.

Reminders
Labelling/Lost Property
Please ensure jumpers, PE sweatshirts, coats, etc are clearly labelled with your child’s name. For your convenience, Order Forms for MyNameTags.ie are available from Reception or can be ordered online at www.mynametags.ie .
Dropping in lunches, bags, homework etc.
It would be greatly appreciated that if you are dropping in any of your child’s forgotten belongings e.g. lunches, bags, homework, etc., that they are clearly marked with your child’s name and their class teacher.
Extra Curricular Activities
After School FAI Soccer Sisters
Calling all girls in 3rd and 4th classes for six weeks of Soccer Sisters in the Hall from 3.05 – 4.00pm on Thursdays, beginning Thursday 17th October. The cost for the six weeks will be €10 only. Places are limited, so if you are interested please sign on with Andrea at Reception before Tuesday 15th October (with Payment). Please put payment in an envelope with girl’s name on the front and the class she is in.
Badminton
There are still spaces available on Wednesday afternoon (3.05-4.00pm) and Friday afternoon (3.05-4.00pm) for Badminton.
