Parents Association News

Urgent Appeal regarding Christmas Fair this Sunday
Our hugely popular Wheel of Fortune and Bottle Stall are in danger of not going ahead this year due to a shortfall in donations. Without the generosity of our parent body we could not have a Christmas Fair so we are appealing to you for donations to ensure that the Fair is a success. We need new/unused gifts and we need lots more bottles of wine, spirits or minerals for the bottle stall.
Final drop off days for donations are Thursday evening 7.30 - 8.30 pm and between 10am and 5pm on Saturday.

We are still desperately short of volunteers and need help with the set up on Saturday, helping out on the stalls on Sunday and with the clean-up after the fair on Sunday evening......come on, don't be shy, get involved, even just for an hour or two - remember this is your school fair and your child will benefit from the money raised during the fair. Contact Bridin on 086 3845931 if you can help in any way.

Following the horrific disaster in the Philippines and a desire expressed by parents to support the aid efforts, the Parents Association, in conjunction with school management and staff, are delighted to announce that all proceeds raised in the Games Room next Sunday will be donated to charity in the name of the students from St Patrick's NS. The money will be split between Concern and Goal. We will notify everyone in the week after the fair how much was raised and donated.

Extra Curricular Activities

Art & Craft Workshops
The new ten week term of Art & Craft will begin on Monday 02 December at 2.10pm to 3.45pm, and will run until March 2014.  A wide range of skills will be taught to foster creativity and self-development.  Some places are available. Please contact Blathnaid on 087 4123247 for full details.
