Leprechaun Cup
“On Friday 9 May, St Patrick's NS competed in the Leprechaun Cup cricket tournament down in Porterstown Park. The lads were victorious against Tyrellstown Educate Together. The match was won thanks to great performances from the whole team. St Patrick's won the toss and captain Hanzalah Babur elected to bowl. There were excellent performances from all the bowlers, particularly Rhys Costello, who took three wickets. After Tyrellstown had set a target of 60 runs to chase, Alex Watson and Cian Boyle opened the proceedings with a fantastic partnership of 20 runs and before long the total had been reached. It was a tight match but St Pat's were worthy winners and advance to the next round of the cup.” Adam Byrne - Mr Roache's Class.
