Drop Off/Collection Procedures - Health & Safety issue
Under no circumstances should cars enter/drive through the coned Bus Stop area when collecting or dropping off children in the morning/afternoon. This area must be kept clear of moving traffic as children who are being dropped off/collected walk across the coned space to get to/from their parents/guardians cars. Your complete cooperation is appreciated in this Health & Safety matter.
Mid Term Break
The school will close at the normal time of 1.10pm for Infants and 2.10pm for senior classes on Friday 13 February. It will remain closed for Mid Term Break from 16-20 February inclusive and will reopen on Monday 23 February.
Trócaire Boxes
Trócaire Boxes are available to collect from outside the main office.
Free Cycling Skills Course for Parents
There are still a limited number of places for the free cycling skills course for parents, which takes place this Friday 6th February from 9am to 10.30am.

Today FM Shave or Dye or Oh My
On Wednesday 11 February, Rachel Hoey from Ms Nolan’s Third Class will be joining Today FM’s Shave or Dye or Oh My by dyeing her hair in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. She wants to do this to support her cousin Tiernan who is very seriously ill with cancer. She would appreciate any donations to help her fundraising. The Encyclopaedia Britannica is available by remote access from home to all pupils. It is a free online resource that provides a safe, age appropriate learning environment. New Handwriting Scheme for Junior Infants
We are introducing a new handwriting scheme for Junior Infants and each child will need a copy of the book. The school has purchased the books at a cost of €5.50 each and we will be seeking payment from parents through our online payment system after the Mid-Term break.
