Poster Competition - sponsored by Parents Association
The children have been invited to take part in a Poster Competition to promote the message that "cycling/scootering is unsafe on the school grounds" (this includes the Avenue from the main junction of Carpenterstown Road and Diswellstown Road). Posters will be judged on both the poster and the caption. There will be prizes for every class and the overall winner will receive a bicycle. Winning posters will be laminated and displayed on the railings outside the school.

Weekly Newsletters
If for any reason (absence, loss, etc) you do not receive a copy of the weekly newsletter, it is on display on the notice board at the entrance of the school and is also available at www.stpatricksns.ie. A number of copies will be available from the main reception area.

Celtic Travelling Book Fair
The Book Fair will be in the school from Tuesday 06 November to Friday 09 November. It will be set up in the stage area at the back of the PE hall. (Entry will be via the door to the front of the teachers' car park only). Feel free to call in at dropping off and collection times to browse through the selection available. This is a great opportunity to get started on your Christmas shopping! The more books you buy, the more books the school will receive to help to stock the school library.

We would like to welcome our new coach, Brendan Phelan, who will be taking over from Daire O'Neill. Daire is moving on to become a member of the Garda Síochána and we wish him the very best of luck in his new career.
