Dublin 15 Cross Country Finals
Well done to our Cross Country Team who performed excellently at the Finals of the Dublin 15/Fingal Cross Country Finals at Morton Stadium yesterday, (Tues 4th), There were more than 40 schools represented and we were informed there were about 1800 children competing in the races. Our team were 50 strong made up of boys and girls from 3rd - 6th classes. They all ran superbly and most took great pride in being placed in the top ten of their race - a wonderful achievement for them all. Maith sibh, go leir!
St Patrick's Cross Country Team Photograph
Unfortunately, we were unable to get a photograph of the whole team after the event so can we please ask all runners to hold onto their kits and we will organise a team photograph to be taken one day during the first week back after the Easter Holidays.
Most queries can be answered by accessing our website www.stpatricksns.ie or by viewing our Newsletters which are regularly emailed to each family and are also on our website. Please make our website your “first port of call”.
The Reception/Administration Office hours are 8.30am to 2.30pm. The office closes for lunch from 12.00-12.30pm daily.
It would be much appreciated if telephone calls to the school were made only in emergency situations, and only after 9.00am.
Punctuality
It is imperative that all children are punctual in the morning. The 20 minutes between 08.30am and 08.50am
is a very important time in the school day. This is when the younger children have activity time or structured
play. It is also a time when teachers get to correct the homework or hear children’s reading.
Bumbleance Collection
We have a Bumbleance Collection container in the school. The items accepted (in good working condition only please) are as follows:
DVDs; Video Games; Hand Held Consoles; iPods/MP3; iPads/Tablets; Phones.
If you have any of these items for recycling, drop them into the main office.
Dropping in lunches, bags, homework etc.
Please ensure that if you are dropping in any of your child’s forgotten belongings e.g. lunches, bags, homework, etc., that they are clearly marked with your child’s name and their class teacher.
School Insurance
The School Insurance company is Allianz and your child is covered under a 24/7 Pupil Insurance Policy. For more information, see www.allianz.ie/otherproducts/schools.
The school looks after the bookings and payment requests for Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, Emma Louise Dance Academy and Chess. If your child decides not to rejoin the new blocks of any of the above activities, it is essential that you email info@stpatricksns.ie so that we can remove your child from the list, and offer the place to another child. It will also mean that you will not receive payment requests unnecessarily for the activity.
