Easter Holidays
Please note that the children will finish at 11.30am tomorrow Friday 14 March.

The school will be closed from Monday 17 to Friday 28 March inclusive and will reopen on Monday 31 March at 08.30am.

Junior Infants September 2008
There were 252 Category 1 applications to the Parish Schools. 54 of the 81 places available in St Patrick's N.S. were offered to siblings. If we were not implementing a Common Admissions Policy with St Mochta's, the cut off date in St Patrick's would have been 16 December 2003 and only 28 siblings could have been accommodated. The main beneficiaries of the Common Admissions Policy are the younger siblings of pupils in St Patrick's N.S.

Lá Glas
Tomorrow will be a "Lá Glas" (Green Day) - children are encouraged to wear green if possible.

Parents Association Fashion Show
We would like to thank Adrienne O'Sullivan and her organising team for all their hard work in making last night's Fashion Show such a huge success. Thanks are also extended to the models, MCs, makeover models, stylists, make-up artists and everyone else behind the scenes on the night and also to all the Sponsors.

Lenten Campaign - Easter Egg Raffle
A sincere "thank you" to all who donated Easter Eggs for the raffle in aid of A-Z Children's Charity. It was a great success and we will let you know the total raised after the Easter break.

Seachtain na Gaeilge
Seachtain na Gaeilge has been a great success thanks to Mrs Jennings and the Irish Committee: Ms Barrins, Ms Murray, Ms Dolan, Ms English, Mr O'Neill and Ms Nolan and indeed to all the pupils and staff. Bhí ceolchoirm agus céilí sa halla inniú again and bhain gach duine an taitneamh astu. Beigh mórshiúl timpeall na scoile amárach. "Go raibh mile maith agaibh" to those parents and grandparents who entertained the children with traditional Irish music during the week.

Trócaire
We have arranged for a representative from Trócaire to collect the Trócaire boxes on Monday 07 April. We cannot therefore accept Trócaire boxes in the school after that date. Alternatively, you can return your Trócaire box to the Parish Church.
