St Patrick’s School Choir and Choral Scholars Concert
“Everybody was excited and we learned that hard work really pays off. It was great fun and a happy experience. Ms Meade was thrilled and very surprised with the flowers we all gave her. Backstage was cool and we felt like we were superstars! Thank you to everyone who came.” - 3rd Class Choir Members
Discover Primary Science Award
“The day we went to Croke Park was very enjoyable. There were many different displays in a large hall, including a milking cow! We learned about the brain, the way that it’s separated into two parts: one focuses on movement and the other for thinking. The trip was very educational. I think the school was right to invest in science!”

Moving House/Leaving St Patricks?
If you are moving house and your child will not be returning to St Patrick’s in the new school year, it is vital that you make contact with the class teacher or the Main Office as soon as possible as it will be necessary for you to complete a Transfer Form. We have a large number of children on waiting lists for all classes and we would like to be able to contact these parents as soon as possible.
Contact Details
It is essential that we have the correct address and contact details (e.g. home telephone, parents’ mobile numbers) for your child on our database in order for you to receive your child/children’s school reports, end of year letters, etc. If any of your details have changed since the beginning of the school year, please complete a Change of Address/Contact Details Form.
Booklists
If you have mislaid your child’s booklist please note that booklists are available on our website, http://www.stpatricksns.ie/. Click on “Newsletters” and select “Booklists 2008/2009” to download a copy.
Found
A pair of children’s glasses was found recently. If your child is missing glasses, please contact the office.
Schoolbooks
Some classes are making a change with regard to Gaeilge textbooks for the coming year. 3rd, 4th & 5th Classes will be using Bun go Barr. In line with the recommendations of the New Curriculum, we would like to build up a supply of alternative resources for use in the teaching of Gaeilge. Should any families be happy to donate Inis Dom 3, 4 or 5 to the school, we would be delighted to receive them on the last day of term.
