Head Lice
There have been a number of cases of head lice within the school over the past number of months. We would request that, if you receive a letter advising you of an outbreak in your child's class, you treat your child immediately as a preventative measure. Head lice can spread rapidly within a school unless all affected children are promptly treated. Delay in identifying and treating all affected children can result in a cycle of repeated infestation with treated children rapidly becoming reinfected. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Old 2008 Calendars
If you are thinking of throwing away your old 2008 calendar, you may be able to re-use and recycle it. Calendars with good pictures/photographs can be a useful teaching resource. Many calendars show scenes of places around the world (e.g. landscapes, cities, well known monuments, animals. Calendars showing places in other countries would be particularly useful. If you have a 2008 calendar which can be reused, please leave it with Andrea in the main office.
