Parents' Association News - Archived

The Parents Association runs an annual Sponsored Walk in the Phoenix Park to raise funds for the school. It has become a key fundraising event and is particularly special as pupils, siblings and parents join in the fun together. In previous years the walk took place in the Furry Glen. This year a different route was chosen to accommodate the growing numbers at the school - from the Papal Cross Car Park around the American Ambassador’s Residence. On a beautiful autumn day almost 600 children and parents completed the walk observing pony trekking, nearby model aircraft and collecting chestnuts on the way. Satisfied children met up with pals to play at the Papal Cross and enjoy ice-cream. All in all a memorable day out for the school.
